Back-light A light source that illuminates translucent material from behind often used in lightbox displays
Backwall The panels at the rear of an exhibit. A popular portable solution, pop up stands
Back wall Exhibit An exhibit that is back-to-back with another exhibit or against a building wall. Can use a popup display as a backwall option
Banner A suspended panel used as a decoration or a sign, usually made of fabric or paper for temporary use. Also PVC banners, Vinyl banners and for a special effect Canvas
Banner stand - a portable frame for displaying and exhibition graphics. Many types available including roller banner stand , retractable banner stand systems. Also called banner stands or banner frames
banner display - method of displaying and exhibition graphic. Could be a banner stand or a simple per tensioned spring.
Banner frame - term used for an outdoor structure use to stretch and support a PVC advertising banner
Banner outdoor - usually printed onto reinforced PVC which is weather proof and durable.
Banner PVC - nylon reinforced material used for printed banners. Fire resistant material available for indoor use.
Banner roller stand - a banner stand where the graphic rolls up into the base using a pre tensioned spring like a venetian blind
Banner stand display - an exhibition stand where the impact is created by the use of portable banner stands
Brochure display - a method of displaying sales literature at trade shows.
Brochure stand - A free standing display used to display brochure at a trade show. May be fixed or folding

Banner printing - for short runs use large format digital printing, for short runs of printed banner use screen printing. Cheap banners made be made using computer cut vinyl
Bill of Lading (B/L) A document that establishes the terms between a shipper and a transportation company for the transport of goods between specified points for a specified charge. Also see Air Waybill, Inland Bill of Lading, Ocean Bill of Lading, Through Bill of Lading.
Bubble Wrap Uncrated goods like exhibition graphics covered with a protective plastic bubble wrap
Blueprint A scale drawing of booth space layout, construction, and specifications.
Booth An area made up of one or more standard units of exhibit space. Term use in the USA. Also common reference to Pop up display systems
Booth Area USA term. UK Stand size. The amount of floor space assigned to an exhibitor.
Booth Number A number assigned by show management to identify an exhibitor's floor space.
Booth Personnel Staff members assigned by an exhibitor to work in an exhibit.
Booth Size The dimensions of the floor space contracted by an exhibitor. Usually sold in 10' x 10' increments.
Breakpoint The level of sales you have to make to pay for the cost of your exhibition
brochure holder, brochure display boards, brochure rack - all methods of displaying literature on an exhibition stand. May types to choose from. Folding stands are popular. Also referred to as exhibition literature racks. Available in 1/3 A4, A5, A4. AMy be freestanding literature racks or table top perspex leaflet holders
